Sunday AM Service

Love God, love others – 24/7.  This is what we aim for.
_

We have plenty of parking, and there is easy access to the hall we meet in. The Sunday meeting begins at 10:30 am, but we serve coffee and cookies from 10:00-10.25 am. The refreshments are on us, sit wherever you like, and make yourself at home – we do.

We begin with about thirty minutes of singing where we express our love and thanks to God. Feel free to participate (the words are projected onto a screen) or simply listen. This is usually followed by a time of prayer and reflection as people to respond to God’s Presence. Then there is an opportunity for people to give as part of their worship. Baskets of sweets are passed around and everyone takes one. Those who want to give a gift put it into the baskets as they are passed round.

Then the children leave for their program. The one exception to this is on the first week of each month when the kids program runs for the whole service. On these weeks they are signed in to their activities when you arrive.

Once the children are all signed in, there is a talk based on the Bible. It aims to apply the Bible to everyday life in a way that is challenging and inspiring. Following the talk, there is  an opportunity for people to receive prayer. If this is new to you, feel free to watch – we will try to explain what is happening as we go along.

The service is over by 12:30 pm, but some people stay a while longer and chat. The children are brought back into the main hall for you to sign them out.
