What to Expect
We have plenty of parking, and there is easy access to the hall we meet in. The Sunday meeting begins at 10:30 am, but we serve coffee and cookies from 10:00 am. The refreshments are on us, sit wherever you like, and make yourself at home – we do.
We begin with about twenty five minutes of singing where we express our love and thanks to God. Feel free to participate (the words are projected onto a screen) or simply listen. After this there is an opportunity for people to give as part of their worship. Baskets of sweets are passed around and everyone takes one. If you are visiting, you are our guest, so this is all we expect of you. Those who want to give put their gifts into the baskets as they come round.
Then we have a short break.
After the break there is a talk based on the Bible. It aims to apply the Bible to everyday life in a way that is challenging and inspiring. Following the talk, there is opportunity for people to receive prayer. If this is new to you, feel free to watch – we will try to explain what is happening as we go along.
The service is usually over by 12:15 pm, but some people stay a while longer and chat.
Afterwards please do take a few moments to tell us what you think – there is a feedback card in the welcome pack. It will take a minute to complete, and we really appreciate your comments. Completed cards can be left at the welcome table.
