The RUSH pub
When RUSH first started, Andrew & Lucy took on the tenancy of a pub. They were so effective at sharing Jesus’ love with customers that many of them became Christians. As a result the pub made no money. The landlords agreed that Andrew & Lucy could continue to use the building, but for RUSH instead.
Today the building is still used by RUSH. The widows hold their weekly fellowship meeting here and the RUSH carpentry and tailoring schools are based here. These schools offer orphaned teenagers a vocation that enables them to support themselves and a future family.
