One ambulance - check!

Well, we said we would deliver on this…and here it is. An ambulance for Butere. It took a little time to find the right vehicle and then make the necessary modifications to the interior. It took even longer to get it authorised by the relevant government department. But it has been declared fit for purpose and is now fully operational.

The RUSH team have been working hard to make the local community aware of this new provision. More than that they have explained to people that whoever uses this ambulance will not only receive medical attention on the way to hospital, but they will be prayed for too. Andrew and Lucy are now working on training up a team of first responders and volunteers who will offer after care when patients are discharged from hospital.

Thank you to all those who gave to make a dream come true! Already lives have been saved because people from Butere have got to hospital in time.
