A shoe tax

We have a theory that the more pairs of shoes you own, the more comfortably off you are. So we invited members of Salisbury Vineyard Church to donate a sum of money (they got to decide how much) per shoe that they owned towards a RUSH Ambulance. Other church members have signed up to do different things…to go without desserts for a week and give what would have been spent. Some of our kids have pledged their pocket money. One couple gave what they would have spent on a night out together. We are making good progress!
