Wheelbarrow upgrade?

Butere is a town that lies approximately 45 minutes drive from Kakamega. Kakamega is the nearest hospital. For those who cannot afford a taxi, the choice is to walk, to hope for the best… or to go by wheelbarrow. In fact, one RUSH member gave birth to her baby while being pushed to hospital in a wheelbarrow.Just this summer a toddler died because she choken on a bean and could not be got to hospital in time. Lucy’s dream is that the church in Butere provide an ambulance for the community. It will be a free service to those who cannot afford transport and those who can will be invited to make a donation to fuel costs. We (Salisbury Vineyard Church) have decided to make this dream come true…we are going to buy an ambulance!
